Concrete is the backbone of a great outdoor space, and in Colorado it has to survive hard freezes, fast thaws, de-icers and clay soil that moves. That is why we spend as much time on what you don't see as on the finish you do: excavation, compacted base, rebar or mesh, forms set to the right slope, and joints cut where the slab wants to crack.

Whether you need a new patio for a new-build backyard, a driveway replacement, a side-yard walkway or a decorative stamped finish, our crew handles the full project, from removing old concrete to leaving the site clean.

Types of concrete work we do

Crew finishing a large new backyard concrete patio in the Denver area

Concrete Patios

Backyard patios and patio extensions sized for grilling, dining and entertaining. Clean broom finish or a decorative upgrade, always sloped so water runs away from your foundation.

Stamped Concrete

The look of slate, stone or brick at a fraction of the cost, with no pavers to shift and no weeds growing between joints. Choose the pattern and color that match your home.

Concrete Driveways

New driveways, extensions and full replacements built thick enough for daily traffic, with a broom finish for traction in snow and ice.

Winding concrete walkway with curved flower-bed borders

Sidewalks & Walkways

Side-yard walkways, curved garden paths and front entries that connect your yard and keep mud out of the house.

Freshly poured side walkway next to a garage

Concrete Repair & Replacement

Cracked, sunken or heaving slabs removed and re-poured at the right height, with slope corrected so water drains away from the house.

Compacting the base before pouring a concrete patio

Concrete Demolition & Removal

Old, cracked or sunken slabs broken out and hauled away, with a fresh compacted base so your new concrete or pavers start on solid ground.

New concrete driveway and front steps

Steps & Front Entries

Solid concrete steps and stoops that make your front entry safer and more welcoming.

“Wilson Concrete has completed many projects for us. A concrete driveway extension, a RV gravel driveway, split rail fence in the front yard, a 6 x 6 foundation for my greenhouse and created 3 flower beds out of a sloped side yard. Anytime I have a new project they are the first team I call. All of these projects are a year old and have stood the test of time. The crew is on time, polite and always cleans up after themselves. Class Act!!”

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does new concrete need before I can use it?

You can usually walk on a new slab after 24–48 hours and drive on a driveway after about 7 days. Concrete keeps gaining strength for roughly 28 days, so avoid heavy loads and de-icing salt during the first winter.

Why does concrete crack, and how do you prevent it?

All concrete shrinks as it cures. We control cracking with a compacted base, reinforcement, correct thickness and control joints cut at the right spacing, so any movement happens in a straight line where it won't show.

Is stamped concrete a good choice in Colorado?

Yes, when it is installed and sealed properly. Re-sealing every few years protects the color and surface from freeze-thaw and de-icers.

Do you remove old concrete?

Yes. Demolition, haul-off, base preparation and the new pour are all part of the project, and we leave the site clean.

How much does a concrete patio or driveway cost?

Price depends on size, thickness, demolition, access and finish (broom vs. stamped). We give a free written estimate after seeing the site, and first-time customers save 10%.
